This weather blog is something I have been wanting to do for a while. I have always been super interested in the weather. This happened at a young age for me when I was about 5 or 6 when Hurricane Sandy hit New York City. Since I lived in Brooklyn I was able to see the destruction firsthand at a young age and hear stories that were terrible but very significant about the storm. After this whole event happened I was super interested in why all of this happened and how nature could be so destructive. This was then the driving force for my passion for researching weather and what has led me to this blog.

My purpose for this blog is to educate my readers on the current climate of Earth. It will not only focus on the weather happening on Earth but also on why it is happening and how it relates to climate change. I will also be going over reasons why climate change is happening, what we as people can do to stop it and methods and technologies being used to help lessen the effects of climate change. Along with this, I will do special interviews with people in the fields of meteorology, environmental sciences, and even some people such as ecologists and biologists to give readers a better and more comprehensive understanding of the Earth's climate.Â
